As the Eircom "trigger" program is mentioned on your excellent website, just a reminder about the trickster nature of this cynical Eircom PR exercise: http://www.comwreck.com/blog_20_may12.html
Like with so many other "trigger" towns, in Ashford over 100 percent of households would need to declare their interest, to satisfy Eircom!

Wish you success with your project.

    Just to clarify,

the scheme will provide coverage in the Netownmountkennedy area, and we have quite a few expressions of interest from there already. So if you are interested then please visit the site and add your name to the list. Our grant application is with the DCMNR and we hope to have it approved within the next couple of weeks.

For those of you in the North Wicklow area you may be interested to know that the scheme has been approved under Phase II of the GBS.

You're one of the lucky ones. Many people connected to the exchange, myself included, are unable to get broadband due to poor copper, splitters or distance from the exchange. Those are the people who will benefit from this scheme.

    Good Luck

Parts of Kilcoole can get broadband if they are on the Newtownmountkennedy exchange. The majority however who are on the Greystones exchange can not! Bring on wireless and get rid of Eircom totally.
