pop3 mail server

    hi

    does nebody have any info on how to set up pop3 mail on a server so i can send messages to it and then dowmload them using a email client ?

    if your using windows, most non-lite versions include IIS which can serve webpages and mail.By non-lite versions I mean, windows 2000 / windows XP pro etc. not win XP home for example

    you install IIS via the control panel applet "Add/Remove programs"

    things begin to get complicated when doing it using 'nix so I cant comment there.

    Hmm, have you ever tried setting one up on UNIX? It's not that bad...

    let me rephrase, it gets more difficult for me to install it on 'nix; no more so than anything else I suppose, not a user friendly OS type.
