I am moving house and will be able to start a new telephony/broadband package it seems with Utv/esat bt/eircon/SMART/ntl cable and i am sure afew more which offers the best service and value for money?????

You should consider using NTL, then you can use VoIP and not bother with a phone line and line rental

Have a peek here : What is your VoIP setup?

Also bear in mind that many of those bb providers will be offering their own version of VoIP in the not too distant future.
