Alright Lads.
Am looking for some links to some of Mark Kavanaghs stuff to download, you know from around the time of the Olympic ballroom stuff.
Anything would be appreciated, as the ones on youtube are not the best quality.

oldskool MK sets are as rare as fcuk man, but if ya sign up here http://www.properoldskool.net/forum.htm and get yourself known 2 the users i'd say they'd be happy 2 help ya out. theres also loads more stuff from bitd thats worth checkin out as most of it is rare aswell.

theres a 20 post minimum before ya can access the d/l sections 2 weed out leechers, just 2 let ya know before ya sign up.

I'am the same as your self,
I have loads of 12" records, I want to sell,
I also have two mixers and 3 decks I'am willing to sell the lot for 150 Euro, good for a first time user ,they are only going to gather dust, the decks have only been used once or twice, I also have two big 400 to 1000 watt seakers to sell , good sound off both,

I , also have 6 Xl record's to sell, for 50 Euro, the records have only been played once , I ripped them to mp3, they are in mint condition, only played once , that was to rip them to MP3. I bought them years ago.

haha, didnt know.

i was askin around here for olympic mixes ages ago and aparently there was no tape deck in the olympic 2 record mixes can ya believe that, a top venue with no way of recordin a mix :eek: lol. anyway nice 2 see you about these parts baz.

does anybody use Audacity for recording mixes??if so would anybody be able 2 tell me how 2 upload a mix 2 megaupload,mediafire etc..is there some way that i can change the file(recorded mix) so that i can play the recorded mix on i-tunes etc instead of just with audacity,or if i cant are there any other software recording systems?? sorry if that sounds really confusing:p

I dont hhave audacity but i am guessing that your file format is .AUP & so only opens with the program that created it........you will have to export it first as a .WAV file from audacity.......here is how to do it in answer to your question above......

Then i would recommend grabbing this to convert the file to .MP3 after you have expoted it from audacity using the guide in the link above.......

i use audacity meself, and what key is sayin here is spot on. the only thing i would add is that theres a (plug in???) i think is the correct lingo you can get that allows you 2 export straight 2 mp3 if ya wanna check it out. dont use it meself as i export in wav and convert 2 mp3 later usin similar methods described by key here.

thats a handy little gadget alright. no thats not what i was on about, if ya do a mix or record anythin at all in audacity then click on file at the top, ya'll see on the pop up menu 'export in either wav or mp3'. if ya click mp3 it tells ya it needs 2 find a certain file 2 do so, now i havent really checked it out, all i know is that that particular file is missing from my version of the software so im assuming that ya can d/l it somewere 4 free as a plug-in. i usually just export in wav and convert it later with switch sound file converter.
