does anybody no the name of the 5th or 6th tune in Mark kavanagh - last night of the ormonde? its a mans voice saying " good evening folks...(not sure what this says)..nd ive a tune thats got so much rhythem in it that i may have 2 dance part of it(sounds something like that:P..and does anybody know if The M experience - Rock your body (mark kavanagh and allen pullen mix) was released on record?

Good call there Kev , liked M Kavs remix alright (see below) but still think the original was better.As for it been released on vinyl, i dunno m8 but it's not listed on discogs anyway.

I'll need to make a trip into Maplin's for some cables (RCA to USB) as the only ones i have (well ,that i have access to) are ....offsite ,I should be in around town this weekend so i'll pop in then.

In fairness, i have the motivation ........just lousy time management always something/someone/somewhere else taking up my time.

RCA to USB for ripping vinyl

You would only really be going down that route if yoou were looking to import video into yer PC G,

All you need is your audio RCA to 3.5mm jack going from mixer out to line in on PC which you can pick up for abou €2 in power city,

I got one of them during summer as thats what i was told i needed,actually paid £6.99 for one in UK,anyway it didnt work!!!:mad: so it's sat in a drawer in sheffield doing nothing...then i was told to get an RCA to USB cable as "thats what i shoulda been told i needed" ....anyway,anytime i've wanted something converted (or more rather tunes Natz wanted converted from vinyl,her bro uses what looks like an RCA to USB cable going from his mixer to a usb slot on his laptop.....another alternative i was offered was a ion usb turntable...but i dont know what they turn out like.......any idea?

NNot sure why i didnt work for ya G but dont go splashing out unesscessary funds on new gear, most likeley it was the controls on your PC volume levels i would imagine that caused the trouble or a duff cable.

Trust me G, get yerself a €2 cable from powercity & set it up, i converted all my tapes this way & it just needs tweaking of the volume levels to get it right.
