just seen this on another site

    1) Go to Google, and type 'Google Gravity'.
    2) Click on the 1st result that appears i.e. Google Gravity
    3) Wait 2 seconds.
    4) Play with it for a... WHILE! :D
    5) Then write any word in the Google search bar and press Enter.
    6) Something even cooler will happen.

    whats supposed to happen?

Halloween gig info here folks - http://asylumdublin.com/

I prefer the Sunday night myself but would love to see Shades of Rhythm.

But the price of the tickets i guess i can only make the Sunday night i reckon, that's if i decide to go? It really is a cracking lineup on both nights but it's still the Vaults...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,614 ✭✭✭es-cee

hahahaha, the fcukin price of those tickets, pissin meself laughin :D
wasn't even that dear into the temple, and compared to the vaults,
it was like an ibiza club.

good line up, but they can fcukin shove it!

Hmmm, i could be tempted given the saturday line up,

    Parsley,
    Jay carey,
    Dave McDonnell,
    Computer,
    Oliver lieb,
    Shades of rhythm,
    Blue amazon,
(Hyper sleep being one of the absolute mind blowers from the asylum)

I think €30 could be parted with for this.

Shades of rhythm are great alright,

shades of rhythm are anthem bashers of the highest order, maybe back in the day when they were at the top of their game, that gig you went to was brilliant. but i've seen both them and altern8 play a few times in the last 11 years and their sets are just anthems from start to finish. i know that might be alot of peoples idea of a great night, but i'm certainly tired of listening to the likes of 'rozalla', 'inner city', 'cappella', 'praga khan' etc, as well as their own anthems  won't be anything underground about their set, whether they do a live PA or a dj set.
just my opinion or course, not settin out to try and upset people with my comments.

this line up is without doubt brilliant, but, at the moment i owe out alot of money between a course i'm doing and a mac i purchased a coupla weeks back, so i have to get my priorities first. if and only if i can get the money together to buy a ticket and have money over for drink and what not, without gettin into more debt, will i even entertain this ludicrous ticket price.

still can't get over the cheek of the them prices, in a recession no less!!!!!

Difficult to pick a night but so fare most of my mates are in favor of the Sunday night, looks like it's the VIP at Ticket for that night , B/H the next day :)

    Hardfloor
    dJ Vertigo
Hardfloor DJ set - Classic Techno - 2 hours set
Mark K - Classic Olympic Set
    Casper
    Deen Sherry
    Dilly
    Pat Hyland
    MickO Morrison
    and a few others..

I would have to say it is pricey and can only imagine the bill after running a weekend like this.

all those tunes were brand new at the time, and hadn't been totally rinsed out, by them, as well as the mainstream (mtv part zone etc).
i'm just totally sick of them tbh, they were deffo pioneers in their own right bitd but, i don't rate them now. same as altern8, seen them quiite a few times too, the last bein in the vaults on halloween '09 and i ended up just goin in to listen to pressure and the banana boys because of their anthem bashing. any ministry of sound oldskool cd will be a good indicator of what they'll be likely to play.

A little bit off topic, but here's an oldskool gig with Warlok, Crux and Pete B happening in The Dark Horse Inn on George's Quay this Saturday

Well you having a good go at it:D

you know me man, i speak my mind and always have done.
thats just how i feel about them, can't pretend to like something
don't, and vice verse. there would be very few peeps on this thread
that like the same oldskool tunes as me, G bein one of the minority with
myself who love jungle and dnb, but such is life, each to their own.

Looks like im priced out of this one, absolutely outrageous charging €29.50 + booking fee regardless of the line up which incidentally is the business but i cannot see people in their droves paying this type of money people just don't have it.

well fu*k it anyway i was looking forward to this,i assumed it would be a score but 29.50 + booking fee or a whopping 49.50 + booking fee for 2 nights is daylight robbery.
