    neuf telecom launches ADSL2+ service

    neuf telecom has launched a very high-speed internet access service of up to 20 Mbit/sec for EUR 14.90 per month across its entire network. The service is based on ADSL2+ technology. Its network covers 150 urban centres covering 60 percent of the French population.

    From their website, and even with limited French it makes for interesting reading:

    It will certainly be interesting to see what smart do once they get their ADSL2 service up and running fully - I see they are advertising "SmartVision" on their website, offering about 70 digital TV channels and Video On Demand PPV movies through a phoneline. Hopefully smart can bundle this together with faster internet (although 2mbps is pretty good considering the monthly price).
