Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Ok imagine this, the Apple Powerbook G3 (500mhz/20gb/384mb/14.1") that you relyon for lots of things suddenly stops chaarging.. Ok bring it in and pay $50 to getit looked at, they tell me its the AC Adaptor, grand go out and buya new one for $150!! Ok Ok itsa lotbut i need this lappy, so thats grand throw out the old one and go back on my merry way, until it happens again. F***!!!!! This time get a engineer friend of mine to check it out, turns out the power connector on the mobo is loose but he wont fix it, he's not up on laps. Ring around and the cheapest i can find someone to solder the bloody connector for is $220!!!! Can anyone out there help. Is this or is this not extortion??Anyone out there willing to do it for less? PLEAASE??

    Nah, Not Really.
    Yes you are getting ripped off, unless they are replacing the logic board.
    Even then thats not needed as the DC has its own daughtercard.

    I can sort it out for you, in fact I think I even have a spare connector here....... you have a PM!
