San Andreas Multiplayer to be expected in 3 months

    The crew at www.sa-mp.com have recently announced that they are expected to finish in August. However the crew at www.mtasa.com have already released a promo video

    Have it on the ps2, but if they got it working well multiplayer wise, id buy it on the pc in a snap. Would be amazing. Imagine 20 on 20, each team starting on the opposite side of the map, having to hunt each other down. It would be epic!

    has anyone played the VC version?

    Didnt Rockstar have a press release stating that they were'nt going to do multipayer as it would take too much away from the game? And now youve got mods teams doing it for them.....For shame.

    I'm sure the only reason they did not put multiplayer into the game was so that next time around, the main selling point of the next GTA game will be official multiplayer action. I mean, they've put everything everyone could think of in the games (practically) so what other route is there to go down.

    MTA was good right up till 0.5 then it got buggy they are releasing a new core called MTA Blue which will be the new VC and SA platform.
    SA-MP are working on 128 people in the whole of San Andreas and they say this is possible if they interlink 3 servers (San Fierro, Los Santos and Las Venturas) together

    Rockstar has endorsed MTA. They mentioned the MTA team when they decided not to make SA Multiplayer. Really they cudnt be arsed because other people make better onling multiplayer for them
