All in one home entertainment - non PC

    I want to get my hands on an all in one system for the sitting room. There are so many choices availible I find it hard to choose one.

    I'm looking for a DVD player(multi-region).
    DVD recorder.
    One with a hard disk to record and use the live pause thing.
    Has to have a radio tuner so as to get rid of the old Hi-Fi.

    I was very close to buying this Liteon 5045 multi format DVD recorder with 160gig HD but one of the reviews was very damning. The price is £289.99str. I will also be looking into buying a surround sound system after this. But one big purchase at a time I guess.

    Here is another one I found JVC DR-HM20EK DVD Recorder with 80GB Hard Drive £249.94STR

    The machine itself would want to be very easy to use so the rest of the family could use it. (erm, and myself :) )

    Perhaps no one here as a DVD recorder with a HD???
