Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How does one entertain a guest in Dublin? I mean, if I meet up with someone in Dublin, how do I show 'em a good time?

Depends what you have in my mind. If you are after touristy stuff then do the bus tour - well worth it.

Depends on whether you want to get laid or not. Decide that first.

For day time, given the weather we've been having, just hang around Stephen's Green, or go swimming in Killiney or somewhere like that.

Getting laid's not a problem. Last time we hung around Stephen's Green for hours in the sun and it was great, but this time I'd like to do summit.

    Thanks for the plug Mear.

There is a lot to do in Dublin. My Sunday afternoon's at this time of the year are spent in Croke Park, the best place to be in Dublin at that time. Beyond that, any of the coastal towns, like Howth, Malahide, Dun Laoghaire and the aforementioned Killiney too, amongst others. St. Stephen's Green and some of the other Dublin green spaces are always nice in the summer weather. Sunday night finds plenty of music around in the pubs, with them being a bit quieter than a Friday or Saturday. In short, there is always plenty to do in Dublin.

Iv opted to not give in and go to the pub, as i find them brain numbingly boring! Rather jam a game of golf on the weekend and try go over to england as often as possible.
I really cant see the appeal in going to those pubs every weekend, i enjoy getting a bit hammered but not in that enviroment. Very closed in, dark. Well maybe its cause i dont actually come from ireland, didnt grow up like that :) .
My sister seems to have found its charm though ;) .

I agree with you there. Don't forget they're also expensive beyond worth.
