    Name 3 tunes.

    1. A tune that you think defines your experience studying during the year for the leaving cert
    2. A tune that defines you experience of actually doing the exams
    3. A tune that defines how you feel now that summers here and you've finished school forever (happy or sad)

    I'll get the ball rolling.

    1. The Beatles - I get by with a little help from my friends
    2. Queen - Under Pressure
    3. Van Morrison - Brown Eyed Girl.

Wow this post really had me thinking. Mightn't be the most relevant to the leaving but reflect what i remember most during these times.

    1. One - U2, don't ask why just does.

    2. If I Can't - 50 Cent (despite the following really irrelevant words.....
Eastside, Westside niggaz know, yo, i'm loco
Even my mama said, "Something really wrong with my brain"
Niggaz don't rob me they know I'm down to die for my chain :D )

    3. Live Forever - Oasis

all well known but maybe not everyones choices. THey all have particular significance for me!

I'm going to be just like you: the job, the family, the f##king big television, the washing machine, the car, the compact disc and electrical tin opener, good health, low cholesterol, dental insurance, mortgage, starter home, leisurewear, luggage, three-piece suite, DIY, game shows, junk food, children, walks in the park, nine to five, good at golf, washing the car, choice of sweaters, family Christmas, indexed pension, tax exemption, clearing the gutters, getting by, looking ahead, to the day you die.

That is the most depressing sig i've ever read!

The exams, studying and such... or lack thereof...
Half the fun of it is that I can’t keep up
And I lose my breath and what’s worse
    Is I don’t think I’m the first

Any way you like, you can do no wrong
Please just give me five minutes dear
Let’s just pray it’s not near

Stay forever; I won’t last it
    I'll die trying
Will you suffer a little with me?
    But you would never

With a second chance I’d mess it up again
But I’d do it worse than before
Cos I’ve learned so much more

The exams themselves... they were actually pretty cool but I could of done better...
    Three wasted years, standing still
As you opened up, 18 miles wide
    On this country drive
    I can't keep up
    'cause you're so far gone
And it's all too much hindsight
    Three wasted years, wasting time
As the hunger pains grow inside

    I can't keep up
    'cause you're so far gone
And it's all too much hindsight

    And roll on summer...
A train appeared in town one night, for some of us it changed our lives
A few of us never saw it coming, then like the fire it disappeared
It happens at a wonderful age, with the traffic lights your mind can change
We made up rules to follow for good
No wonder we're fscked up, some of us did
Tonight never ends if we never go inside
    The moon is always full
Your calendar is always pinned on summertime

    1. Sum 41 "The Hell Song"

    "Everybody's got their problems
Everybody says the same thing to you
It's just a matter how you solve them
And knowing how to change the things you've been through
I fear I've come to realize
How fast life can be compromised
Stand back to see what's going on"

    2. The Beatles "Help"

    "Help, I need somebody,
    Help, not just anybody,
Help, you know I need someone, help.

When I was younger, so much younger than today,
I never needed anybody's help in any way.
But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured,
Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.

    Help me if you can"

    3.
    Toploader "Dancing In the Moonlight"

"We get it on most every night
When that moon is big and bright
    It’s a supernatural delight
    Everybody’s dancing in the moonlight"

Exam experience - I've got the Power!

Can't believe no-one already mentioned it but I think the song that best describes my feeling having finished the exams is Greenday-Holiday (wait no....inflight already mentioned it - sry bout that). Just after I finished applied maths, I was driving home listening to 2fm and that song came on. Perfect timing too. Brilliant song and made so much sense at the time. Just reminded me of Holidays, College next year and Oxegen where GreenDay will be playing. :D.
