Itunes - Sound Quality - Shaky

    Ok, Probably in the wrong forum, but, has anyone had any problems with itunes on their PC. The sound is all shaky on mine (itunes 4.8, win XP) ... The music plays perfectly in MediaPlayer.. but not in Itunes! Anyone any ideas.

    What format are the songs in and what bit rate are they encoded in? If you don't know, you can right click on one of the songs you are using in ITunes, select "Properties" and then Summary -> Advanced. You'll find the bit rate info here, while the basic "General" tab, list the type of file, e.g. MP3.

    BTW, have you bought any music from the ITunes store and do you have problems with those, as well the music you import?
