Broadband in the midlands? (Longford)

I've just moved home in an effort to save money so I can leave on my travels again asap :D but in the mean time this dial up connection is doing my head in. how available is broadband (preferably not eirscum) inthe midlands?Longford to be exact. Anyone help me?
