Anyone know where in Dublin I can get my running gait analysed and also get some advice on the type of footwear I should be using?
    Thanks

Would be interested to see if you get a positive response to this. AFAIK nobody in the republic is setup to do this. T
Up&Running have opened in belfast and offer specialist advice/gait analysis. According to this , they are looking for the franchise for the south - so we should have some specialist stores coming soon.

get a mate and a video camera and do 100 m with it taped. get it to mpg and head over to charliefrancis.com/community and post in the video analysis forum.
the great man himself mite even analyse it.
If you post here i could have a look at it.
Basically you should clench fists (debatable) pump arms (acceleration occurs at arms slightly before legs) run on balls of feet, torso erect, shoulders lose.
Most important thing is if it aint broke dont fix it. lots of ppl have slight nuances in running styles that coaches wouldattempt to batter out of them when there is no real need. This can lead to worse performances
