Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Where to buy a cheap external burner?

    Hi,
    Want to find an external DVD burner (or maybe just CD) for as cheap as possible. 2nd hand is ok too...but dont want to use eBay. Anyone know where would be best to try?

    this nec 6500 dvd burner on komplett http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=309824&cks=PRL is about €95 incl. delivery which is a very good price.i have the desktop 2510 version and its great. might get one of these myself for my dell inspiron 2200 but the face plate will not match so it will stick out a bit.the dell site is charging crazy money for their version of the nec burner.

    sorry, missed external bit. you can get this usb/firewire cd/hdd enclosure http://www.svp.co.uk/acatalog/drivecases.html along with nec dvd burner for about €100 incl. delivery off svp.doubt you will get good external burner much cheaper than that. you may as well get a load of blank dvd's off svp at the same time as they are very cheap and the delivery price will be the same.
