random over 18 person present or parent?

Well i wanted to get a piercing, tongue or something, not sure yet. Do you know if it has to have parental consent/presence or could i have someone over 18 (random friend hehe) with me? thanks

And some would peirce anything on anyone! There the places you should keep away from. You'll end up with an infection and a night sittingaround in casualty!

Go to a half decent, well respected place! And it would depend on how young you look/how young you are whether they'll peirce you at all. Altho, showing up with a whole load of friends probably wouldn't help ya appearing over 18

ye snakebite wont pierce unless YOU are 18......although im 17..look bout 18 though...and got my tongue done there yesterday...they said that the only way they would pierce it without i.d(they did believe i was 18) was if i could go through all the regulations and dietary restrictions about it before they pierced it!! wanted to see if i had read up about it and knew how to look after it etc!! so glad got it done!not sore at all!!!

ur best off to go to somewhere that has a good reputation...i know of toomany places who pierce ANYONE, and they really do a crap job and charge more than anyone else....maybe your better off waiting...but if you can't then i suggest either getting parent consent or maybe trying to pass for age 18 anyway!some people get away with passing for older then they are and its not cos the parlour its crap, its just cos they look older!

hey,im 17 and went to celestial ring to day to get my tongue done. they will do it if u hav a parent present or u let them ring yr parents(or yr friend!!) they wouldnt do me though cause my parents are away and i had my sis with me. so i went to miss fantaisa and yr man goes u hav to be 18 and i go u can ring my mam (my sis) and he goes em... is this yr sister?? i said yes and he goes oh ok then i will be ok go ahead! so i went down to yr man and got it done! not sore at all..its my first piercing also so im really happy wit it!!
i think miss f are really good... nice and clean...everything fresh out of packages and they use numbing spray(which is the worst part of the process!!)

Agreed, why can't you just wait that extra while until you're allowed? I'm only getting such piercings (ears) as it is within the policy of the studio to allow for my age. I'm going in, probably tomorrow in fact, to get lobes done in Celestial Ring, so maybe see you there.
