I've a non-branded, unlocked Sony Ericsson K700i that I'm using on Vodafone Ready to Go. It's working perfectly for Live! browsing and MMS however, I can't get it to work with my email account over GPRS.

I use a subscription IMAP email account provided by Apple. I've used it on this phone with other non-Irish mobile networks with absolutely no problems whatsoever. e.g. orange in the uk.

Does vodafone block access to non-vodafone email servers?

or am I just using the wrong settings?

Any ideas?

If it's not possible on vodafone, would it be possible to use it on O2 or Meteor ? I'm willing to switch network if that's the case.

the customer service replied to me "email service is for bill pay customers only "

thats what i was told when i asked them y the e mail dosent work
