Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    *bump*

Ah well, i backed neil cannon back in february, as i thought he had a nice number of winners heading into the turf season, but since it has started, he hasnt been visinting the winners enclosure to the frequency you would expect to see from a champion jockey. Now going by the bookies they have dettori and spencer at the top of the market, dettori going from 1/3 out to 6/5 and back into Evens , while spencer has been going along a steady line of 12/1, 10/1, 8/1 , 6/1 , 11/2 and so on into around 5/2, but the outsider i fancy (and have recently backed is Robert Winston) he has been riding consistantly all season and seems to have hit a bit of form recently. Well i think the championship will come down to dettori vs. spencer, but the crossed fingers will be behind winston!

Not something I'd take a strong interest in but I'd imagine that Seb Sanders will be Dettori's main threat. He should start motoring soon when Prescott brings out his three-year olds with form of "000" from their juvenile season who then win 11 handicaps in 4 days.

Just checked the prices now and Sanders is 6.8 on Betfair.

Looking at the jockey's leaderboard, it's interesting to note that the jockey with the best winning strike-rate is Kerrin McEvoy with an impressive 20%. That's a more important stat than number of winners imo.

Dettori wins it if he wants to, and even if he doesnt, he will probably still win it.

Revisiting the subject of the jockey's title, I see that Seb Sanders is now favourite. (2.6 on Betfair)

    Current leaderboard:
    Winston - 84 winners
    Spencer - 83 winners
    Sanders - 82 winners

Should stay pretty close to the end I think.
