Black and gold/yellow was the colour scheme of the boards before they became boards.ie - back in their cloud.ign.ie days.

I never understood the obsession with the black and gold/yellow thing.

Truth is, I cant honestly see us going back to that (or indeed changing the look and feel in the near future). We have a few things higher up the priority!
