    I disagree. The inventors of a P2P app must now show that they are not "Promoting" the theft of intellectual property .

    One could argue that the inventors of Bit Torrent promoted nothing but that the torrent sites did .

    There's not much they can do about bittorrent or usenet as their primary purpose is clearly not illegal filesharing :). These are the only 2 filesharing tools worth using IMO.
