Best hair metal band?

People make fun of them all the time but you still secretly like them. Tight nylon pants, lots of make up and hair spray, high voices and crap solos. You've got to love it.

For me the best is probably Poison.

Mötley Crüe gets my vote. Checked out a few Twisted Sister albums recently and they're not bad.

The Crüe are a close second for me. Hmm Twisted Sister... never like the singer's voice that much.

I'd say Twisted Sister or WASP. Gotta love WASP

Dokken had its moments but I always thought Lynch Mob was a lot better.

And if you could consider them hair metal for any length of time, van halen is a close second.

I speak for everyone who got into metal in the 80s - you all, including me, listened to atleast one hair metal band, thinking they were cool - you cant lie to me, I was there, I remember it all - with your stretchies and white runner boots - oh the memories

and there was nowt wrong with Raw Power - even if the "one " good video was always the last one - with the lousy credits

Krokus had some great stuff too! In general, I found the British hair metal bands to be bollox compared to the rest. In the grand scheme of it all though, they're all pretty ****e. Brilliant ****e

It all went out the window when the heavy metal nights in mcgonnagles on a friday closed. back them bruxells was 50 / 50 boys and gals. today you 'd have a better chance of getting a chick in a queer bar than there! lol!

I pity the metal generation of today, I reckon they had no fun compared to the real metal years!!!

I'd go with Dokken though, because George Lynch made them a pretty good band.
