This is strange In the At the END of JUNE!! but.

It was the movement to achieve a Parliment in Dublin Simular to the Parliment in London but subordinate to its laws. Started By Isaac Butt (i think) and made famous by Parnell , Home Rule Was Achieved in 1914 but not implemented due to ww1. It was meant to come into force in 1918 but the 1916 "Sinn Fein" rising blew it out of the water when publin vote swayed from the Home Rule Party to the more extreme Sinn Fein Party. By 1919 HR was forgotten. A republic was the order of the day.

Okay m8. I wrote that. Look at my other posts. Note the random use of capitals and the fact that I cant even Spell Dublin right even though I Have lived here for 21 years.

Dont insult me I DONT copy and paste.

And what website would put "i think" after a Point of Information???

My dates are rough. And my political views are clearly shown by "Sinn Fein" rising.

meh, 'twould have been dealt with sooner had the house of lords passed it. "Home Rule" was put off because the house of lords could only hold up a bill for two years, outbreak of war "distracted" England from dealing with it, yada-yada-yada....Irish took the oppurtunity to start a rebellion...blah blah.

    Whats going on?
