    Hi All,
Does anyone know where I might buy some straw?? In the south Dublin/Wicklow area. I'm just looking for one bale or less if possible.

    Many thanks,

    S.

    Hi All,

Does anyone know where I might buy some straw in Clare? I'm looking for a few small square bales for the garden.

Donedeal opr local farmers co-op/agri suppliers.

You can get a bale for about 30-40 euro, depending on where you go.

Sorry,I was thinking of giant round bales.
30-40 euro is the average going price in North County Dublin for giant round bales.

Pet shops very often sell small bales of straw as bedding.

paddy147 did mention local farmers in his post.

Call into one or two and ask. Farmers love cash buyers.

I wasn't meaning to comment again on the price you mentioned.
I was just making a suggestion as to where to get the straw.
