Netgear Router

Does any 1 else have problem's with their netgear router on eircom bb? Ever since i got it keeps dropping the connection every 1-2 hrs and i end up having to restart the router.

What's the make/serial no?

Mine's a WGT624v2. Had the same problems the whole time I was on IOLBB, and would immediately hang if I started downloading a large file. Ever since I got a static IP address with IBB it hasn't dropped once - I'm not very aware of the technicalities of it (I'm sure someone else here is), but that seems to have been my problem. They recommend upgrading the firmware, but I assume you've tried that...
