Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Asking the stupid question
you are pressing PrtScr or Alt+PrtScr and then Ctrl-V in the other app ?
you aren't trying to do a print screen of a protected doc
    - if in adobe acrobat reader check the document security properties

Try using wordpad in accessories instead. (Start - Run - Write )
Save the file and open it in word.

If wordpad works then it's a word foible , other wise might be something in the background.

You could then try paint just to see the image.

Paste it into mspaint, save it as .jpg and try inserting it into the Word doc.

can't test the theory now but there is a setting in display properties ...show contents of windows while scolling/resizing , you could try that as the it may be a video driver issue

    Shouldn't that be office XP SP3 ?

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=85AF7BFD-6F69-4289-8BD1-EB966BCDFB5E&displaylang=en
    Download Size: 16441 KB - 58925 KB
Or if you download 73MB you can get openoffice http://download.openoffice.org/680/index.html

You still haven't said if it works in Wordpad / Paint or if only happens in word.

Try saving the printscreen as each of the file types word can insert picture as.
Try logging on as a different user in case your profile is corrupt
    Try safe mode
Try deleting Normal.Dot - std. word template
Try changing the page setup size to A3 landscape
Try changing the default printer - WYSIWYG mar dhéa - pdf995 or pdfcreator
    Try http://www.annoyances.org

OpenOffice has annoyances too, but at least they tell you that it's a beta version and they'll refund you the cost price if they can't fix it.
