    just a thought, but I think a "consoles" area in games would be quite a useful place as I own quite a few different consoles and since they're becoming so technical now (usb ports, broadband etc) I don't think it fits into the games category

    consoles are hardware.

    It's not like the Games board is overflowing with new topics - I don't think your argument would justify an entire new board.

    I for one see no problem with consoles staying under the 'Games' heading (I have literally a stack of consoles BTW)

    also has 2 usb ports and an 5 1/4" expantion bay. Will have dsl connectivity soon too.
    tbh im only looking for my own forum:P

    If there were a lot of topics on the games board about consoles then it might be worth while, it doesnt seem like that at the moment though...
