Does anyone have this pierced??Or know anyone with it done!
I'm getting it done tomorrow and just was wondering does any one know the normal size bar it's pierced with.I know it's usually pierced with a curved bar bell...put i'm unsure of whether a 1.2mm or a 1.6mm is more common.... I forgot to ask my piercer last week and it was just onmy mind now!!
I don't mind getting pierced with a 1.2mm as I don't want the balls to be too big on a 1.6 but i feel the 1.2 balls are too small.
I'm hoping to have it as subtle as possible, just for the next few weeks anyway, cos i want my mother to like it (never gonna happen)....she's threatened to kick me out of the house if i come home with another piercing...
I'm sure it's an empty threat!!!!!!!

you can get different size balls to fit the bar. I'd say its pierced with 1.6 as 1.2 is only really used for eyebrows and frenulums (sp?)

oh i can so relate to this haha
i will be 18 next november and cant wait for the simple fact of that every time i come home with a new piercing all hell breaks loose
where are you getting it done anyway(if you dont mind me asking)

also im very jealous id love to be getting pierced tomorrow

but i do have peculiar ears so it doesnt surprise me

most my ear cartilage piercings are done with a 1.2mm...that is my 2 tragus', 2 anti- tagus', snug and 2 inner helixes...the rest on my ear are 1.6...but tragus generally are pierced with a 1.2

I got it done it tattoo zoo, this morning...with a 1.2 ...i could of gotten a 1.6 if I wanted but I opted for I.2mm...this piercing comes with a lot of drooling...trying to drink a cup of tea earlier took me half an hour!

My mother's not talking to me...oh well...I'd rather if she screamed, but she's not this time...I had to wait in the car while she done shopping, cos i was gonna go in too..but she said, 'you're better of staying where you are...when i asked why..the reply was 'cos i'd hate anyone to see you looking like that!'
You'd swear it's an odd thing for me to be getting pierced...I've been getting pierced since I was 13 and this is my 25th..and shes still getting pissed off....
ohh well....at least i haven't got kicked out of home...bring on september when i leave!!!

Maybe, it's just me, but i think the pic looks a little strange...my lips look a little out of proportion to my chin, since my bottom lip is still a little swollen...but i assure you i am normal looking!!lol!but anyway, here's my newest baby!!!

Does it knock of your teeth much? I got my lower lip pierced last monday, ring to the left, and although I thought it might knock of my teeth a little it doesn't at all. Yours looks like it would though?

hmm...it doesn't really...I didn't think it would at all...but i suppose the odd time it does.....the top ball would knock off between my 2 front teeth...nothing major though, it wouldn't cause any damage...I usually have a brace in anyway, so it protects them i guess!!!I'm wearing it in the photo, but it's pretty invisable!!
I'm trying to baby it as much as possible though, cos it will be so easy to rip it out..i nearly ripped it out the first day i got it when i was talking off my t-shirt...but I'm a cluts!I done the same with my hand web the day i got that!!!

Where did you get the hand web done? Really actually want to get it and I didn't think it was comnmon?

nah it's not that common a thing...I've never seen anyone else with it done. only pics on the internet...I was in tattoo zoo, where i get pierced not so long ago and some guy came in looking for one, and my piercer doesn't do them and i was like...hahaha, i have it done!!!lol!
I got it done by paddy odonougue of bodyshock(dublin) just over a year ago at the tattoo expo in midleton, cork...had to wait til then cos i couldn't get up to dublin, to get it done...i'd begged my old piercer for 2 years to do it and he wouldn't...so paddy done it for me...it's perfect, people are amashed i still have it a year on...cos they tend to reject quite fast...
oh well...i tend to baby the ones that are more likely to reject!!!
