Seriously.. wtf are they saying in the game? I don't speak hood, or whatever lingo it is. Is there a plugin to get the subtitles in real English?

You don't need to understand any of the cutscenes, all the info you need is given after when you start the mission.

And it gets bit simpler later on.

ive only just got this game so im sure you had a long thread on it before but anyway.

argh this game is annoying!!! its gone too complicated, like simcity the original was genius then simcities 1000's just too many variables who want to lay f'ing water pipes?

when you accidently cut someone off on the phone, then they don't ring back,and you missed a mission or submission and you feel you missed huge parts of the game then theres annoying forklift type things to contend with argh!!!

and the hub map is hopeless and the menu map is is just as bad doesn't show enough info of where to go... is there a quick key for the large map

but its gta i gotta play it.

stick with it ... it gets far better..gangland wars etc...u can fly planes as well dont worry about missing phonecalls etc as u get the return call soon enough....

must get back to play it after not playing for a couple of months i'm 55% through the game..

Any missions you get on the phone show up on the map. If nothing new is on the map you probably didn't miss anything important. Whats complicated about the forklift? Press 8 to move the lift up, 2 to go down.

well i missed some prob with og loc's mike??? he never called back

and another call when i was over in the redneck area,
i had done a few gangwars and a load of missions the last one being the big chase with the heli and smash through the sign and then was sent to do missions over at the redneck area should i stay there till everything is done, but then i get calls from ceaser bringing me back to the first area, are they any more illegal street races do i have to win at the car bouncing to do more of them?

word of advice, throw it out and stick in Vice City! Its ten times better.

I don't remember ever doing a mission with anything to do with OG's mic. I doubt you missed anything improtant.

To progress in the game you have to only do one of the lowrider missions. Missions don't dissapear so just do them in what ever order you want. Stay and do the redneck mission if they are more convienient.

Pfft, Vice City was the weakest of the series IMO. GTA3>San Andreas>Vice City.

looked for street races apparently theres checkered flags to signify the start of the races once you have a lowrider, now how the hell im i supposed to know that or notice those flags i probably passed them by a hundred times!!!

see what i mean..

i check to guides to see if i missed anything, its not cheating

and some beech just told me i was too muscley after going to the gym all those times half the muscle is just from running/cycling around it very hard to loose the muscle???

i think the flags appear on the map...
couldn't be bothered with the street races myself though, so i can't say for sure.

I'm pretty sure you get a low rider and go to the area where you do the first low rider mission (the train station) When you are there you can start the races, then the checkered flags show up.


Most of this is explained in the top left through out the game.

You lose muscle by running/cycling/swimming.
Don't eat for ages and the muscle starts dropping off the more you run around, but I wouldn't be bothered losing muscle to get more girlfriends. There's little point to it.

well the car and fighting mechanics are much better nothing like speeding down the motorway the wrong way swerving in and out of the cars, heres a poll which game has the best sound track love SA for its german techno station for voodoo ray and then aaaalllllllllllll my exes are in texas that why i live in dallas...:)

Yeah , Install vice city then get that total conversion that makes it into GTAIII but still has the benefits of the vice engine.

How many time have people been speeding down the freeway in their bullet or whatever only to see a tractor/forklift going just as fast as them.

Its annoying that nothing goes on in your business’s.Your garage doesn’t fix car's, your car dealership doesn’t sell cars, your airfield doesn’t have small plane's landing from time to time, your mine doesn’t work, your half of the casino means nothing it makes the world feel dead and in the end pointless hope they fix that in the next game.

Am i the only one that feels that way?

That was something to do with the party he's throwing, you don't need to call to do the mission it just turns up as a mission at his house, opposite your mothers house.

did the tanker commander mission, now want to earn some money but now can't find the place where your supposed to bring trailers too? can't see it on map

looking at the guides doesn't help

It will be a yellow dot on your radar. Just drive towards it

Did you start the tanker missions, or did you just hook a tanker and trailer together?

The place where you start the missions is just west of the first city, off the main road that joins the first and second city.

It's a little truck on the map. South part of the map - just west of the ferris wheel/amusements pier.

have it now thought that was a different mission

there one challenge to deliever set vehicles, and another to take random trailers for money didn't realise there were at the same place... though...

any other good help guides out there so i don't have to bother yas anymore,
