    Wouldn't it be cool if Hector got The Late Late Show after Pat Kenny (instead of bloody Tubridy)? There'd be some interesting interviews there.

    Hectors travel programmes are the stuff of legend particularly his South American trip, unlike any other travel programme I've ever seen he sought out the type of attraction that not even the guidebooks will put in. His use of Irish at times was brilliant particularly the time he had a smile from ear to ear for some Chilean horsemen and while commentating in Irish said something like "these yuppies wouldn't hack it back home" when asked what he'd said his reply something like "wasn't it the best groomed horse he'd ever seen"

    Hectors travel programmes are excellent, the Africa one that was on recently was really good. I'd sayhe would wreck your head if you spent the day in the same room as him but fair play I say.
    Good idea to put him on the Late Late instead of Kenny, can't see it happen though!

    hector is a talentless gombeen who made his name by latching onto the fact that he went to school with tommy tiernan and has red hair and the cupla focail, what an idiot and has been found out now on his dire radio show that nobody listens to only auld ones who dont know how to change the dial on the radio, he must be hard up for work to be getting up at five in the morning........let yourself go hector....and dont come back....
