Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does this work? Saw on the telly that if you text TOPUP to 57080 you'll get a free topup voucher. I got instruction in the text back: "send a stamped addressed envelope to po box 10243, dublin 24". Anyone tried?

How much does a text to 57080 cost? It wouldn't be free (only 50xxx are).

Check if you're now subscribed to any 'clubs'. 2e per message/ringtone sent or whatever. They might make their money back that way...

Yes, it's a club and every message received is €2, but i unsubscribed directly so not deducted. Just got the information about where to send my mobile number and network so they can add up those €10. So actually, you're getting €8 for free..

I can't unsubscribe from it, it says I am unsubscribed, but I always get the texts off them, worst thing is that I think it uses up my credit, with me being a "member".

    use this:
    http://www.comreg.ie/numbering/num_sms_search.asp

texting stop is generally supposed to to work but it often doesn't. these companies will do whatever they can get away with to keep taking people's money. the general rule is, if it starts with 57, don't text it.

often the easiest way to stop these texts is just to get a new number. it can take weeks and calls to comreg to get them to stop otherwise.

@siblers, those texts are costing you money. best knock it on the head now

Texting unsub or unsubscribe didn't work for me but texting just the word stop did. They are working within fairly loose regulations that need to be tightened up severely. Put in complaint to www.regtel.ie saying how difficult it was to find out how to unsubscribe to them and help stop this carry on.
