Cen Car Parts in Ireland

    Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, It is fecking impossible to get any decent model shops in Dublin to supply me with Cen parts.

    Anyone car to point me in the right direction?

    The two main model shops in Dublin are ...

    Norman or Patrick
    Green Hobby & Model,
    Green Marine House, 38 Clareville Road, Harolds Cross, Dublin 6W
    tel 4928776
    Peter or Brendan
    The Model Centre, Capel Street, Dublin 2
    tel 8728134
    They stock CEN , GV, Carson & Tamiya model parts and model (nitro) fuel.
    Both shops have backup spares for the cars/models they sell. :)

    Try boyztoys in santry or marks models on hawkins street. what parts are you looking for anyway?

    Steves Hobbies in Tipperary (recently moved from Nenagh) also has some CEN stuff. They are also into planes....can get anything not already in stock when requested.
    EDIT: ooops ... Steves Hobbies not Dublin hobby shop. but the thread title is "CEN in Ireland" :)

    2nd EDIT:Goldwings. I believe Boyz Toyz have given up on RC cars. No CEN in Santry no more... OTOH Marks DO sell some CEN (Marks seems bigger into plastic statics tho). Reasonable to assume they do CEN backup .

    Noel Barratt Model in Cork also do CEN cars & parts.

    Didn't get a change to get it today but I am there on Monday.

    seriously? boyztoys.ie? really? don't make me laugh bar you're looking after some fuel tubing. The last time I was there they didn't even have nitro. It used to be a decent shop but now its a cr@p

    There has to be a record of some sorts here - a July 2005 thread resurrected, by a new poster, in his very first post, with his user name directly resembling the shop his trying to promote in the post.
