From Maynooth to Tallaght... How?

Unfortunately I don't have a car so I'm wondering can anybody suggest the fastest/most convenient way to get from Maynooth to Tallaght and back again? It'll be for July and September, sometimes at rush hour and sometimes not.... Thank you

Maybe the train to Connolly and from there take the Luas to Tallaght. It would be reliable at least.

Otherwise maybe the 66/67A to Chapeizod and a 76 from there to Tallaght.

Get the 66 bus from Maynooth to the Old County Road (West County Hotel) then transfer to the 76 or 76b bus that runs to the Square via Clondalkin.

You can also transfer at Palmerstown Village to Tallaght on the 76a
