Travel / Hols

I'm putting my name forward as a candidate for moderator of the Travel/Hols boards as there isn't one.

I have traveled a good bit and like helping others find info about where there going.

If anyone has any opinions about who should be moderator of the Travel/Hols please post them to this thread.

Bah, Michael,

I had that idea yesterday also.

I know I have been made moderator on Accommodation already. However, I would like to put my name in the hat for this, if for no other reason, there is an overlap between holiday accommodation and permanent accommodation. I've been around Europe a bit + a trip to the States, have international contacts and speak enough German and French to get around, with spatterings of other languages.

Making me mod will also legitimise my spamming - see:

I am also intent on world domination if that helps (or is that only a requirement for admin?)

But at the same time I would support Mike for moderator.

Its rare that we make a single person a mod on two boards.

I've been busy trying to organise some travelling of my own. I'm off to Toronto on Friday. I'll be away for 5 weeks but i'll probably try and get on here a bit.

I don't even know if Dev would want me as a mod but i'd be more than willing to do it.

Perhaps we could have two mods? You know, while one is off travelling the other can hold the fort.
