Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Creating a Wireless Network from Chorus Cablenet Service

    Heyho,

I've spent a fruitless weekend trying to get a wireless network up and running for my mother-in-law, based on her chorus cable modem broadband service. I bought a wireless
access point, set it up to use DHCP, but I can't get the laptop she uses to get an address wirelessly through it. The access point works fine, because I can use it on my network at home. I also brought over my own wireless router, and couldn't get it to work either (again works fine at home on my eircom DSL). Also, I can plug the laptop into a wired port on the router and it works - it's just i can't get a proper address over the wirrless bit.

Anyone else had some luck with this? Does Chorus limit her to one IP or something?

    Dave
