Hi some twat (by the name of("FlogenHasapopen") has posted to all the boards on ICDG community advertising their website which is totally off topic. I think they have posted to Phantom aswell.

why dont you grow up. It was unknown to Flogen that all topics must be strictly on the subject of the forum, or they will be thrown off forever. is this China? Communist Russia? by the way, all that sh|te you spouted about free speech and so on doesn't really apply here. DeVore and the lads pay a lot of money to keep these boards going and as such have the right to do whatever they like on them. Its fully up to them to ban a user if they feel it is necessary.

Rim, this is a "Virtual Community".

"Virtual" - you are completely free to take part or not, this is a website, not a country. Membership is purely voluntary.

"Community" - a group of people who agree to be bound by certain rules/customs in return for the benefits that being part of the community brings.

As you can quite clearly see, it is impossible to be a "dictator" in a virtual community, as it is impossible to stop people from simply leaving if they don't like how things are run.

I agree that the 12-click was overly harsh, but your tirade about Nazis (followed closely by your thought-provoking exploration of the swearword filter) makes you look like an idiot.

To be honest I couldn't care less if he had posted in any of the other forums. But he posted in a community forum. (ICDG were originally on EzBoard but we got sick of the pop-ups, and Cloud kindly migrated us to Boards.ie)

This person posted to all the ICDG board with absolutely no intention of contributing to the community.

Maybe the 12 click was a bit trigger happy allright. But then if you have some muppet say on the IOFFL (just an example) community the action would be swift.

Your post *was* an offense. Think of it this way, what if EVERY ONE of our visitors (all 4000 of them) acted as selfishly as you did by spamming multiple boards with an off topic link to your website?

i would like to, on behalf of Flogen, thank all you who visited the site, even if it was in bad spirits, its all hits to the FlogHasa Inc. team. to be honest, this is not meant to be any rebelious thing rebelious, it just simply questioning how this commmunity is run, and as for the message on the FlogHasa Inc. forum, this was no war cry, but simply a way to inform people of goings on, and, if they wished, to voice their concerns and worries. as for the claim that the link posting was spamming, i beg to differ. the topics, although out of place, clearly stated what the site was about, and was not a lead to anything but what it said. we simply wish to see flogen back on the community, and his respect recovered from this terrible dishonour he has encountered. i think, also, if you look at the topics, especially the phantom fm one, you will see that he has had nothing but good reviews, and has been called a comical genius. so its obviously going down well with the majority of the community.

come on, DeVore, answer my issues, what is the actual problem with what was done, and why was it a 12-clickable offence? perhaps an e-mail warning or something would have been better, and if he failed to comply, then he could be removed. i really think this is a serious over-reaction on your part.
