    Hi
I'm quite new to computers and I was advised to install a linksys WRT54GS along with IOL broadband account in order to use my wireless laptop. According to the linksys documents I recieved I should be able to plug into by ZyXel equipment I received from IOL and it should work however it's not. Can someone please describe to steps I need in order to make this work as non of my machines connect to the Internet now

    Thanks

Connect the Zyxel to ur PC.
    Go to "192.168.1.1"
    Click "Wizard Setup"
    Under mode it says "routing"
    Change that to "bridged"
    Click next.
    Then save settings.

Now connect it to your Linksys
and setup a PPPoE connection on it
remember to include @iolbb after ur username.

    All should be well then.

To setup a PPPoE connection on it view this.
    ftp://ftp.linksys.com/pdf/wrt54gs_ug.pdf
    And go to Chapter 5.
    That should sort ya out.
