Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone know of DVD software that allows you to change the DVD Region as many times as you like. My current DVD drive allows me change the region four times only...is this a hardware thing or can i get around it somehow??

anyDVD adds a software layer to work around the RPC version 2 hardware lock on most drives now , DVD genie used to do a good job , haven't used it in years though
, its about 50 dollars though

Otherwise you can re flash the firmware of certain drives to allow resetting of the regions or region free playback

How do you Flash the firmware? I was wondering about the limited region change aswell.

It differs depending on the drive you have. Find the exact model and do a search, some drives will not have suitable firmware though. Flashing the wrong firmware or incorrect/incomplete flashing can destroy your drive.

There is also a good free program called DVD Region Killer.
