Hackers 3

Hi,
I know there's a Hackers 1 (working title: Hackers) and a Hackers 2 (working title: Operation Takedown), but recently I've heard talk of a "Hackers 3". Does anyone know the working title?

Going into a video store and asking for Hackers 3 will get me told there wasn't even a Hackers 2, so I need the "working title" of it. Thanks.

As for the names, they're mainly given by the "internet community", but sometimes not.

I always thought there was a Hackers 2 but when I try to look it up on IMDB I get nothing.

There was no Hackers 3. Unless you meant something like Antitrust, which was a 'spiritual' sequel to Hackers, in that it took the same liberties with technology and presented something really cheesy and yet perversely enjoyable.

there was no hackers 2 either,
the film was called "takedown",
it has nothing to do with the first "film" ..
it was merely bittorrent folk who called it hackers 2..
i'd imagine the same thing is after happening again..

Hackers 2 is Takedown (the story of Kevin Mitnick, starring Skeet Ulrich)

Wrong on both counts tbh. It was a horrifically bad movie, very loosely based on the antics of Kevin Mitnick. Most of it was both moronic and irrelevant, not to mention complete fiction.

Hackers two (takedown) was a very distorted story on the life of Kevin Mitnick. A good documentary on Kevin is freedom downtime. You'll get to see the objections and protests against miramax for producing the film.. Kevin is a good guy and a very smart man. Alot of the online e-folk try to pick apart anything he has said, but truth be told, the man is a genius.

How exactly is antitrust a sequel to hackers? thats like saying deep blue sea is a sequel to jaws.

Operation Takedown was called "Hackers 2 : Operation Takedown"....some dude wrote a book on the Kevin Mitnick story and they signed up the hackers name to jump on the bandwagon.

Never heard of a hackers 3 tho...
