Some of the best fights have to be in Fight Club, especially when Edward Norton fights himself.

I also hav,nt noticed anyone adding the fight at the start of A clockwork Orange between Alex and his droogs and that rival gang.

"let's ge'em boies" pure smashing chairs of each others backs chaos :D:D

I must say the fight scenes in Martial Arts movies really bore me to tears. They're so choreographed that you might as well be watching ballet dancing.

    Anyhow, here's my faves:

-Sean Connery vs. Robert Shaw in From Russia With Love

-Bruce Willis vs. that blonde European guy in Die Hard

-Indiana Jones vs. the bald Nazi in Raiders

-Ed and Brad's first scrap in Fight Club

    and the more unusual ones:

-Bigwig vs. General Woundwort at the end of Watership Down. Who knew rabbits could be so vicious? Very bloody!

-the lead character in Braindead (can't remember his name) vs. a pile of guts. Has to be seen to be believed, and it goes on for about 15 minutes!

-and seeing how people have mentioned Family Guy, I'll go for a TV one as well: In the League of Gentlemen, Ross vs. Pauline in the job centre (tit biting -painful!)

Oh yeah, I forgot! Marlon Brando vs. Lee J. Cobb in On The Waterfront
I never thought scenes of violence in old films could ever disturb me until I saw this. It was all in the acting I suppose.

The fight in Punisher where its the punisher against the big blonde russian all choreographed to an Opera completely redeemed the movie, although it still went straight to video and a fate worse than movie death- "Xtravision Xclusive".

The Punisher came into the cinema here.....did it really get an Xtra-vision exlusive??
I'm just wondering if it's different up in dublin....because it definately wasn't exlusive down here.

Nobody seems to have mentioned the film Commando. The fights between Matrix and Cook and Matrix and Bennet are cheesy classics :)

Prime vs Megatron in Transformers the movie. What a Fight never get sick of seein it :)

Happy Gilmore vs Bob Barker. So funneh
Swat: The end fight between Colin Farrell and the ex-swat guy, the movie was poor after the first 40 or so mins, but i really liked that fight.
Walking Tall: When the Rock see's his nephew taken away in an ambulance after doing drugs, goes into the casino and fights all the thugs good brawlling.

Rob Roy defo deserves a mention Some great tension , will he win ,will he lose..superb ending.

Mortal Kombat: Now its been a few years but Sub-Zero's fight with liu Kang{sp?} i remeber it being very cool, so ill risk puting that 1 in.

That fight in The Transporter, where the main guy (forget who) beats a whole load of gang guys up in the middle of a huge pool of oil, you have to see it to appreciate it.

Yeah he does, fantastic fight. Also, the fight on the bus just before it (or after, can't remember) is really good too.

Pity about the rest of the movie. I thought music scores didnt really really matter to a movie, could add a little to the gravity of a scene, but i was proved totally wrong with the transporter, the music is so bad you dont get a feel for any of the fights or dramatic scenes at all{or were they try and be dramatic}. Sorry saw this movie awhile back and always thought this, feels good to get it off my chest.

    /rant off

P.S Its a Very Good Fight Scene your right

Spiderman 2 - Both fights between Spidey and Doc Oc
Matrix - Neo vs Smith at the train station
    Fight Club -
at the end end when he's beating the **** out of himself in the basement
Kill Bill - The Bride vs Crazy 88

Next two are more due dramatic impact than "cool fight"
LOTR:ROTK - at the start with Smeagol fighting the other hobbit for the ring. Don't know what it was about it but it was a really powerful scene.
Saving Private Ryan - the little scrap near the end which to the US guys getting slowing stabbed in the chest.

Thats it, i'd forgotten what he was standing on in the oil.

I'd have to agree with Danger Dave though, the rest of the movie was pretty crud.
