Here are my main selections for Friday:

2:00 York: Seven No Trumps - Ideally drawn, in form jockey in Jamie Spencer, won or placed on 6 of 11 starts over 5 Furlongs on Good to Soft ground.

3:40 York: Indian Maiden - Has won on good to soft and is very consistent. Finished ahead of today's favourite Kind at Bath earlier this season. She has won 7 of his 16 starts over 6 Furlongs.

I'm also going to have a place bet on Lucky Spin at around 14/1 as although it's never ran over 6 Furlongs I think it may suit.

4:25 Lingfield: High Reserve - Looks very much one on the upgrade, very pleasing 2nd in first race of the season, conditions should suit and has Murtagh on board.

    I may add more later.

What do you think off Goldeva ?

It's hard to know with Goldeva, she's not exactly consistent, but definitely has the form and ability to win today. That lad riding her today is supposed to be half decent as well. Was last at Leopardstown well behind La Cucaracha and Kind last time out.

In conclusion I won't be backing her, but wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised if she won.

Half decent Jockey?? have you looked ... K. Fallon is riding her... and its 10/1 i say get on it. what do you think

i've backed Goldeva - the ground is just right for her and with Fallon on board 10/1 is outstanding value. They say everything needs to fall just right for her to run her best race - there is no better man to make things fall right !

The irish indo was saying that Spencer would be on Salviatti in the formguide . But the listings stated that he was on Seven No Trumps.

    Had me confused.

I had two wins on boylesports yesterday in the cricket. the total payout is 150 euro and they still havent paid out. I feel like kicking ppl. dont want to bet on anything till i get that money.

Surely Kind has the winning of the 3.40? Havent heard anyone mention her. Wont be backing her at 5/2 though.

*edit BTW, anyone know how to find out where the stalls are positioned at a meeting. They seem to move them around at York a lot.

If you have a look at the Racing Post site, under the menu "News & Reports" there will be a sub menu titled "Going and Stalls", you'll find everything you need there.

    York: 5f, 6f & 1m4f centre; 7f far side; remainder inside

    Great, thanks MasterK.

Heres one for today: Lady Algarhoud - 4.40 Wolverhampton

Something of a course specialist, never been beaten at Wolver. Outstanding value at the 11/4 available with Sporting Odds and Stan James.

I was in the bookies for the evening yesterday, I noticed in the last race before I left that Kallon was on a 14/1 outsider, it was called adian or something of the sort. He won it by about 1/2 a length. I threw a few bob on it and was pleased.

My point is, back fallon on that outsider.

As I write this the 2.35 has probably already started, but here goes anyway

    York
    2.35 Louisiade
    3.05 Sunday Symphony (e/w)
3.40 Goldeva (really think it has no chance whatsoever but it's a nice outsider and fallon did well for me last night, see above ^^^, I think Regina will win but here goes....)
4.15 Tordid Kentavr / Strong Hand.

Mine too. If he can get an uncontested lead he could win this from the front. The favourite Bay Story is the danger.

DAMN fade... UGH i was to late.. i was looking at this board all day for your tips..

    LINGFIELD 3:50

Lingfield is getting some slightly better racing than it's been used to lately today and I'm gonna have a pop at a few contenders.

A couple of days ago the favourite, san antonio would look to have the form to win this race but several of the horses that he has finished ahead of recently have not franked the form particularly well this week...notably presumptive and Polar Magic. That's not to say that san antonio can't win this....However, in Katiypour he has found a rival that has stand up form in this field. 2 lengths second to the sparkling form horse accomb from a poor draw and has already decisively beaten horses in this race like Buy on the Road and Quantum Leap. ALSO, Katiypour is taking advantage of a lower handicap rating on turf then he has on the AW....the favourite is giving him ten pounds and this has to be the day where he takes advantage of a winning mark.

    More to follow

I wouldn't advise anybody pay any attention to my selections at the moment, I've had my worst week in a long time. It's the first week since the start of the flat season that I haven't made a profit and just looking through my P&L on Betfair it's the biggest loss in any week this year.

But, to hopefully rectify things there is a horse called Tauranga running in the 7:30 at Wexford tonight, it really caught my eye a couple of weeks ago on it's debut. It ran very green early on but eventually got the message and stayed on really well to finish 3rd. It runs over an extra 4 furlongs tonight, which should suit. It's trained by Willie Mullins which makes me think it's a future hurdler meaning the 1M 5F tonight should be within it's reach.

It's forecast at 7/2, however both Oxx and Weld have horses in the race so I'd say it will drift as punters usually latch on to the bigger yards in these type of races.

    YORK 3.40

I think KIND will be the winner in this one. York is a fairly flat and fair track and will suit Kind, unlike Leopardstown which seem to pose a stiffer test then what he'll face today. That day at leopardstown La Cucuracha came out on top but he was loving the firm ground and today it's a lot softer and will be more like the ground he hated at york when he was 9th behind the kiddykid. I say forget Kind's last effort and he would easily be a 13-8 favourite in this one.
Indian Maiden is a danger. He won't mind this ground and he has already disposed of the likes od slip dance pretty easily in the past. Im just going to take the chance that the form of the leopardstown race is better than anything indian maiden can bring to the table and the ground and track will suit Kind best of all here

Right back on top again. Well done MasterK. No excuses for the other animals.
