Unsurprisingly, I forgot to post this yesterday.

This is coming out in JPN, so there's always hope that it'll come out here*!!!

I was so excited abut this I couldn't sleep on Wednesday night(and the humidity.)

It's part of the new range of SEGA Ages titles...

I can't read Japanese, but this is how Opera translated the text beside this image on the official site :
The masterpiece and the MEGADO live version with expectation increasing in the latest work and Gameboy Advance "cancer star super HIROZU" which is debut 作 of the specialist group "TOREJA" of game work, and is still continuing gaining popularity many action gamers' support "a cancer SUTAHI rose (1993)." 本作 is a super-[ world / of a doll / stage ] individuality group action "dynamite centering on "cancer star ?."

    Sounds ****ing aces, eh?

    Can't wait!

The picture is of Gunstar Heroes which has a sequel in development for the GBA at the moment.

Guardian Heroes was an excellent game as well. One of the best SoR type games ever.

I hope they bring out an updatd version of Panzer Dragoon Saga. Just a graphics overhaul (don't touch the amazing soundtrack!).

    Yep, i was a bit overexcited and I've been playing GuardianHeroes:Advance lately!:o:)

The game is indeed Gunstar Heroes, and this is therefore great news.

I totally agre about a PDS update, but at least there's Orta on the XB.

Bet you are wondering why Guardian Heroes Advance got such mediocre reviews even though it's a fine game. You really have to play the Saturn game. It's awesome. It is THE best scrolling beat'em up in exictance. It has loads of levels and multiple routes. The steep challenge also adds to the replay factor. God I love my Saturn.

I agree totally, and the way you could to unlock LOADS of characters in the Battle Arena mode, gotta love that Undead Warrior! unstoppable son of a b***h!

Nah, I knew. GuardianHeroes has one of those reputations, ye know:)

I don't tend to believe any reviews save for a select few places that I trust, mainly hands-on accounts from forums. And I knew the GBA GH would be shafted if it wasn't an ultra excellent game, purely because the Saturn original was so good and the review would probably have been done by some ULTRAHARDCORESEGAFANBOY who wishes it was still 1997 and the Saturn was a bit more loved by EVERYONE and that EVERYONE worshipped Yu Suzuki even half as much as he did/does. :D

And also because I was sure Treasure would do a good job of it! Seriously have they made a bad game? And most of the guys who made the original are probably still there, I remember reading that most of the guys who did GunstarHeroes are still there. Apparently one thing they never understood about Western publishers was how backward looking they were, Treasure never understood why westerner pub's always requested a sequel/update to GunstarHeroes(apart from the fact that it would sell loads)!!

I've only played the Saturn original a couple of times, mainly because the Saturn(and the software) was so expensive.

It's a pity though, I wish I had as much disposable income then as I do now, I would have loved to have a Saturn, if only for Virtua Cop, Nights and Sega Rally. But then I think of that shockingly bad controller and chuckle to myself:)

treasure did make some mistakes. Freakout being one of them. It was interesting but dull and about 5 minutes long. I've played longer demos. Also Silpheed: the Lost Planet was a painfully average shooter. Couldn't believe it came from the same team that made Gradius V and the shockingly brilliant Radiant Silvergun.

I hope you aren't slagging off the japanese controller. It's the greatest d-pad ever made. If however it is the first edition european and american ones then feel free to laugh away.

The Saturn Pad IS the best game pad for fighting games, playing fighting games on pads such as the PS2 and Xbox has put me off fighting games.

The SNES Pad IS the best game pad for fighting games

    Fixed for accuracy:p

Yeah, Retro, I coveniently wasn't thinking of those games when I was typing that! I love Treasure though, they make/made some amazing games!

And yeah, I was on about the normal PAL Saturn pad; back then, for me anyway, importing was only done by rich games journo's and the interweb could only do pr0n!!!

Snes pad my arse. The Saturn pad had 6 face buttons and 2 shoulder buttons not 4 and 2 shoulder buttons like the Snes. Shoulder buttons were horrible to use in beat'em ups such as the capcom games.

I didn't say the SNES pad was the best for fighting, i said the Saturn pad is. I didn't actually own a SNES.

    HERECY!!

6-buttons are too much for one thumb imo, the SNES layout was great.

But in fairness I do play VF4 with the StreetFighter special PS2 pad, which is like a comfortable, ergonomic Saturn pad.

I'm still crap at it tho:(
