Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'll watch the Shels match as it would be better than watching TNS get hockied by Liverpool

Ill be watching the Shels match for definite. Even as a Liverpool fan I wont be watching them. OK Ill probably check the score every now and then.

It will be interesting to see if they roll out Bill, Dunphy and Giles. That would be some mud slinging.

I support Cork City but I must say I admire Shels for making that transition to full time. Everybody else had to pull up there socks then. City wouldnt have 16 professionals of their books if it wasn't for Shels. :(

    Flicking.

As a Liverpool fan I am hoping that TNS will not prove too much of a challenge whereas the Shels game could be intriguing.

    Ditto.

Wish more people replied with that! :D So which option do I vote for then? I'm gonna video the Shels game I hope, does that count? :)

Ill be flicking, but will have more interest in the Shels game. That, afterall, should be a contest.

Pity this wasnt made a public poll, as I'd like to hear the justification of those who wont make any effort to watch the 'Irish Derby'

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,399 ✭✭✭✭Thanx 4 The Fish

I won't make an effort to watch The Irish Derby, there are three reasons. First I live in England. Second I am a liverpool fan. Third, RTE is not that easy to come by round these parts. Fourth ( I know I said there were three but I just remembered this one, ticket is probably cheaper too £10 for the TNS game ) I am going to be at the TNS game.

So what is your justification for needing people to justify themselves to you ?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 28,128 ✭✭✭✭Mossy Monk

i have no plans to watch either of them tbh

Just wondering is all, simply as Id imagine many would come back with the old trotted out cliché of "I Hate LOI" etc.

i'll be mainly watching the liverpool vs TNS match as i support them. Bit of flicking involved aswell. If its turning into a cricket match i will probaly flick over to the shels match.

You can pretty much watch both games; start with shels , then flick to pool @ half time then back to shels ... Pool game SHOULD be very one sided so shels game might be better more even game to watch ....

I'm at an absolute loss as to why more people would prefare as nuetrals to watch Liverpool vs TNS than a battle of the champions of Ireland. Bizzare. Well I'll be travelling up to Belfast to watch my beloved Shels.

Most neutrals wont watch liverpool vs TNS, liverpool fans will.

Yup there is a very slight majority of Liverpool fans to any other club here (judging by a poll from a while back).
