wu-ftpd on Solaris

    I am trying to setup FTP server using wu-ftpd on a Solaris 8 for intel that I just set up. I have gcc as a compiler and when following the instructions ( http://skin.surfnet.nl/ftp-www/ftpservermain.html ) to compile it says run

    ./build CC=gcc sol [sol for Solaris]

    after Copying Makefiles and Linking src/config.h I get ./build: make: not found
    for all the makes. I am sure I have PATH setup correctly.

    Any Ideas???

    why not try proftpd, its supposed to be better.

    do you have gcc, or make

    Yeah, I have gcc but thanks I will try that one.

    sunfreeware is fine, Ive never had a problem with stuff from there

    what your doing using solaris for intel in another matter wink.gif
