Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have one laptop in the house which seems to struggle to get decent signal on our home wireless network. A laptop sitting next to it or the same place will have full signal strength but this compaq struggles to get any signal unless it is in the same room as the router?

    Hi snaps,

Are you using the integrated wifi card, or an addon pcmcia/usb adapter?
If you're with the integrated card, you might want to try an addon. Give me a ring-ding-ding, and you can borrow one from me. Also, if you're using an addon, you might try a different one.

    Cheers,
    JP

Yes its the intergrated one, I never thought of trying that. I actually have a card I could try, Never thought of that. It seems to be getting worse, I may try updating the driver as well as the driver is dated 2002. Hows things with you buddy? I was going to have a chat with you yesterday but you dissapeared when I freed up some time.

Give a ring on the mobile and I'll popup online for chat.
Lemme know how your testing worked with additional card(s).

    Cheers,
    JP
