The Entertainment Software Rating Board is probing whether hidden features within the "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" allows players to make their characters engage in simulated explicit sex acts reports Reuters.
According to New York Times, using code written by Patrick Wildenborg and a few friends, some scenes in the best-selling video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas become sexually explicit.

Wildenborg's free code acts as a software key. Mr. Wildenborg said his code merely unlocked the sexually graphic images that are hidden inside the game and written by programmers who work for the game's developer, Rockstar Games.

The series of criminal adventure games from Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. subsidiary Rockstar Games has drawn sharp criticism for encouraging gratuitous violence.

If the investigation were to lead to a rating change from M (Mature 17+) to AO (Adult Only), it could limit sales from major retail outlets.

The Entertainment Software Rating Board "has opened an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the 'Hot Coffee' modification for (the game) ... to determine if there has been a violation of ESRB Rules and Regulations requiring full disclosure of pertinent content," ratings group President Patricia Vance said in a statement.

AFAIK its also in the PS version, but you need one of those ActionReplay discs to get at it.

OMG!!!!, Poorly animated sex scenes between two pixelated characters in a video game that arent even viewable without a patch, the horror!!!, forget about Iraq, Africa, this is much more important, someone might get a woodie and he might be under 18!!!!!!!! :eek:
