.DFONT file extension

    I've got a font file with the extension .dfont and I was wondering is it possible to load this into Photoshop or Illustrator and if so how do I do this?

    The image file I'm working on was originally created using a Mac so thats probably right...Is there any way ton convert it?

    Fonts/files in the windows fonts folder are automatically loaded by photoshop but I dont know wether or not that is compatible. Just put it in WINDOWS>FONTS to find out.
