BitTorrent excluded from P2P Sharer attack

    in the article on p2p in the irish independent today I think it was it said that BitTorrent is excluded from the P2P attack because bittorrent does not have any intention to infringe on copyright laws

    I wouldn't be too sure. I'm almost positive that some P2P app's were proven to be designed orginally for legitimate file sharing (maybe Kazaa) in austriallian courts and yet the *AA are hauling users asses through the courts in the US.

    Although BitTorrent was originally designed to be for legitimate large file sharing we all know what we *can't* ;) be found on BT networks.
