BF2 Account Server Buggered?

    Anyone else getting a problem logging into the online account server this fine evening? I can't seem to get a connection for some reason. Just takes the user/pwd and then sits there 'not responding' it's little ass off :(

    There's people complaining about this on every BF2 board I can find, seems like something major has happened alright. Hope they're doing something about the constant "Connection has been lost" problem I'm getting :(
    Apparently some peoples stats appear to have been reset to zero, but I'm sure that's only temporary until they get the account servers sorted out.

    Yep, just tried logging on and wouldn't connect.
    I gave up and came online to see if anyone else was having the problem.
    Must be pretty widespread by now.....

    I have enjoyed BF2 so far and put up with the crap and patch etc....but I gotta say, they had better get their **** sorted or people might lose interest fast....it seems to be one thing after another...

    Okay guys either it's back up or this is what you do:

    Enter the game using the default (offline) profile.
    Chose Multiplayer->Join Internet..
    When it asks you for your account details again you'll get in.

    No the TiG server is full.

    I think its very recent though. So people already signed in can work ok.

    Actually its only 42 out of 64...never seen it that empty.

    only playing the demo (still), but I can't get in either. might try that offline thing mentioned above and see how i do.

    was getting severe jerkies in all the servers i connected to after a few mins, so rebooted in case it was me and couldn't get back in. pings on a few servers were below 50, so i thought i'd be okay.

    glad i didn't go out and buy it today or I'd be spitting! :D
