Get iPod to display year

Is there any way to have an iPod show the year of the song on the screen when it's playing? I spent about 2 hours making all the years right on my mp3s. I son't want it to go to waste.

Unfortunately there isn't, but you could set up Smart Playlists of particular years or decades if you want a way to find songs by year quicker on your iPod.
